hey gorgeous... welcome to toronto
Ohhhh Canadaaaaaa! What a place! Excuse the excitement, but did you know they made a national dish out of cheesy chips and gravy??? It's called poutine and is DELISH. They are the home of Tim Hortons which is like 100x better than any coffee and doughnuts you've ever had. Canada is time and again topping the list for being the friendliest and in the incredible city of Toronto that's no different. They're even so LGBTQ+ friendly they don't just celebrate Pride week, they celebrate for an entire MONTH and have one of the biggest prides in the world! Just drizzle me in maple syrup, throw me on a moose and ship me over!

Canada is known to be friendly and welcoming to all, and this hospitality extends to the LGBTQ+ community. Canada is one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world and a must-visit for all LGBTQ+ travelers In fact, Canada shares first place in the 2018 Spartacus Gay Travel Index. The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and IGLTA also released the second edition of the UNWTO Global Report on LGBT Tourism and it was noted that 86% of Canadian, millennial-aged respondents believe homosexuality should be accepted. Canada was also one of the first countries to officially legalize same-sex marriage nationwide back in 2005, a decade before the United States.
Travel to Canada is extremely safe for LGBTQ+ visitors, especially in the larger cities where there is a humming gay village, lively nightlife and lots of community associations and support groups. The three cities listed above are some of the world’s most LGBTQ+-friendly cities in the world
why san toronto?
Toronto's main hub for our community is known as The Village and trust us, you won't be the only gay there with how lively and bustling it always is! The two main streets of the Village are Church and Wellesley, so you'll be sure to find plenty of places around here. If you love people watching as much as we do, then Botique bar is perfect, not only has it got fabulous cocktails but a great view of Church street too. A little drag, dancing and karaoke can be found at Crew and Tangos, it can get really busy here because the shows are so wild! If you're missing home, head over to the Canadian take on a British Pub at The Church Mouse, always great for a burger and a pint.
