hey gorgeous... welcome to copenhagen
If there's anywhere as colourful as our Pride flag, it's got to be Copenhagen! This incredibly vibrant, bustling and green capital is home to some of the most drool worthy Nordic cuisine and inspiring Danish designs. Known as the City of Fairy Tales with tributes to Hans Christian Anderson (erm hellooo...Little Mermaid?) and museums holding treasures dating back to the Vikings, it really is a wonderous place to visit! Denmark is one of the most progressive countries in the world, hitting a world first in 1989 by recognising registered partnerships for same-sex couples. The beauty of the country is mirrored in the beauty and kindness of it's people and HAS to be on the list of top places to visit!

Experience one of the world's most LGBTQI+ friendly destinations
Denmark don't believe that being gay should have to define your choice of holiday destination. Denmark is consistently ranked among the most LGBTQI+ friendly countries in the world.
Why you should visit colourful Copenhagen
You ought to visit Copenhagen for the same reasons everyone ought to visit Copenhagen: it's simply a fabulous city (and once you've been you'll understand without being able to put a finger on why it's a great city to visit).
"It’s hard to find a distinct LGBTQ neighbourhood in Copenhagen – until you realise that Copenhagen is the LGBTQ neighbourhood of Scandinavia." (British LGBT Awards)
Copenhagen is as colourful as a rainbow in both a figurative and literal sense. You'll get to stroll through the city centre's charming cobbled streets with century-old buildings that seem like they're always dressed up for a pride parade, and within walking distance (or cycle distance if you want to do it Copenhagen style) you'll find quirky shops, alleyways and bars.
why copenhagen?
Jeeze Copenhagen, where do we even begin? There are some AMAZING bars and clubs to check out, so get your glad rags on! First off, you can't go to Copenhagen without checking out the BIGGEST name around G-A-Y! Right in the city centre, you'll find some of the best DJ's for dancing right into the early hours! Got a thing for someone in uniform? Well at Jailhouse CPH, you'll find all the staff dressed as Police in this themed bar. One of the oldest Gay bars in the city is Centralhjørnet, there's a real mixed and inclusive crowd here and they have all sorts of shows going on throughout the week, from smooth jazz to drag! Masken is another oldie but goldie and has actually won the title of "Best Gay Bar" before too. A fab lesbian bar to go for a chilled evening in is Vela Gay Bar, but it does get more lively into the night.
