hey gorgeous... welcome to belgium
Chocolate, waffles and beer oh my!
Belgium is a haven for lovers of all the above and has some great attractions to go alongside them, from peeing statues in Brussels to a 10th century moated castle in Ghent believe us when we say there is everything on offer.
Obviously being an lgbtq+ visitor does not define which attractions most people will want to see in each of belgium's cities and the majority will want to experience the top sites in each during the day. In the evenings each city offers many bars and restaurants to choose from.
Belgium is a very safe place but still, as always all visitors should be careful in less-developed areas with valuables and belongings.
Belgium is one of the top ranked destinations who welcome LGBTQ+ travellers.

why belgium?
Go on a hunt around the city looking for the peeing statues. There is a boy, a girl and a dog dotted throughout and are great marks to help you remember your way around. Along with these statues there are other spectacular sights in Brussels to be explored such as the Grand Place and the stainless steel Atomium
Antwerp has many alluring reasons to make you want to visit, with energetic nightlife and a rainbow filled gay scene. There are beer tasting tours to jump on or you can take the city on by riding through the streets(on a bike of course) and let us not forget the many museums filled with historical art pieces and learn about the history of Antwerp. Not to forget the city is packed with sex shops to fulfil other needs.
Tjörnin, the gorgeous pond in the city centre is a stunning place to stroll and see the painted houses, or even take a skate when it's winter.
Iceland also has an interesting history for its short 1200 years, so the museums are well worth seeing with their Viking heritage.
Giving off more of a town feel, Bruges is a sight for sore eyes as there is a great view at every angle. Visit the Markt, a large square crowded with horse & carriages, bars, restaurants and quirky market stalls. Visit medieval buildings, lakes and even a torture museum- if that floats your boat!
